Room and Board

The River Teeth Nonfiction Conference is hosted by Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, the journal’s birthplace and residence. Conference attendees are encouraged to stay on campus and to dine with other conference attendees while here. Sharing meals together is one of the many ways we envision the conference building relationships with other nonfiction writers.

Ashland University features award-winning dining services. Friday and Saturday night dinner will be catered and served in the campus restaurant, The Accent Room. Lunch and breakfast will be delivered to the conference room. Conference attendees should notify the conference administrator of dietary restrictions and special requests when submitting the registration form.

Conference participants who opt-out of meals will find there are several dining options in the area. Restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops are within walking distance of the University.

The meal plan begins with dinner Friday evening and ends with lunch on Sunday. A light breakfast is provided for all conference participants Saturday and Sunday as part of the registration fee.
